ALFA UPS’ first hybrid power eco-installation is a success Reference

Office des Postes & Telecommunications (OPT) in New Caledonia needed a renewable energy system to manage their power needs at their Cap Sommet wireless network site. From energy generation to energy storage, the ALFA UPS hybrid power ecopx installation offered substantial operating costs reductions, security, reliability and a sizeable carbon footprint improvement.

The system offers a combination of solar and wind energy with batteries and has a genset (diesel generator) as backup. OPT was fully satisfied with the ALFA UPS solution, which resulted in the award of a contract for another site.
