The future of the company compound in Warstein-Belecke

  1. The factory will be powered with ecologically-friendly utility grid energy.

  2. A power-to-gas device will convert electrical energy into gas, which will be burned in a combined heat and power plant.  The gas is planned to serve as a store of energy, which can later be fed into the utility grid during dips in solar energy production. A gas station pump for cars and trucks will also be possible.

  3. The combined heat and power plant will convert the electrical power at an efficiency of 90%.

  4. The parking lot's solar cells will deliver additional energy, which can be fed into the utility grid after it has been converted into AC power.

  5. Ultra-high efficiency inverters from ALFA Power Solutions will convert the solar energy into AC power.

  6. An electrical energy store will smooth out short-term power fluctuations in the solar farm. An energy management system based on the PV.500 inverter will control this process.
